• Onwords and Upwords Introductory is designed for use by children in Senior Infants as they continue to develop phonemic awareness and motor skills.
• The children are encouraged to focus on a sound and then to explore that sound in the activities that follow. These activities are also structured to hone reasoning and handwriting skills.
• Story contexts in the book are based on the child’s own experiences as is the case with subsequent story-telling activities.
